Shannon teaches Biology, Honors Biology and AP Biology to students 10-12. In addition to her classroom responsibilities, she serves as the science department chair and PLC facilitator. She is an author of the Biology Rocks! curriculum guide, frequent presenter at professional conferences and is making progress as a Ph.D. student at Kansas State University. She holds the 2015 Kansas Teacher of the Year and the 2014 Wolfe Teaching Excellence Award.
