Jacob Truett is a rising senior at Florida State University in the FSU-Teach program where he is currently pursuing degrees in education and biology. In his hopes to one day work with curriculum design and development, he first dove into undergraduate research with Caroline Herbster and Dr. Lama Jaber by looking at the affordances and tensions that are inherent to responsive teaching. He is looking forward to implementing the strategies he has learned not only in developing curriculum, but his own middle school science classroom as well.
